Open All Blinds

Light is critical for real estate photography, and it is especially important to show potential buyers outside views.  If the view outside is amazing then open and retract blinds leaving nothing but glass.  If the view isn't that great open your blinds but leave them down.

Remove All Vehicles

Make sure all vehicles are removed from the property including the street directly in front of the property. 

Turn On All Lights

The more light the better!  Turn on all lights including ceiling lights, outdoor lights, and accent lights.  Do not turn on any non-white lights such as red bathroom heating lamps.
